New Photos From Marvel's Iron Man 3!

Robert Downey, Jr. stars as Tony Stark/Iron Man in "Iron Man 3"
Stop what you're doing, and take a peek at four new photos from Marvel's "Iron Man 3," in theaters May 3, 2013!

Marvel’s “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black

The Iron Patriot!
So we get another look at the Iron Patriot armour and THIS time we can clearly see without any doubt that it is indeed James Rhodes, a.k.a, Rhodey, who is piloting the suit formerly known as War Machine.

We also get this shot of Rebecca Hall looking like she's had one hell of a fall (no, the rhyming was not intentional!). She plays Maya Hansen whowithin the context of the original Extremis storyline being adapted for this movie, is a scientist who developed the Extremis virus alongside Aldrich Killian. In the original story by Warren Ellis and Adi Granov, Killian (played by Guy Pierce in the movie) stole the virus and sold it to terrorists and then killed himself out of guilt. (If you haven't you REALLY should read that amazing mini-series that pretty much made Tony Stark/Iron Man into an A-List character and even the redesigned look was what was used when the movie was green-lit.

Not sure what battle scene or super-explosion this is from - maybe it's from his house/lab getting blown to pieces. Who knows for sure right? But the image is pretty in keeping with the more serious and intense story that Stark has to survive in Extremis and come out the other side stronger than ever.
