VRICA is a series
set in the burbs of New Delhi, born out of the minds of our friends
over at Chariot Comics. The story revolves around a tactical
response team that has in its midst a super-soldier, his origins
shrouded in mystery and some confusing facts which I'm still figuring
out.

Now, the issue is
jam packed with action, blood, gore and cussing. Just the way I like
it.
I like the story.
It’s intriguing.
I do however want to
know what’s going on in Aniruddho’s head! What possible plans
could he have for these characters?!

I do enjoy the art
done by Sahu. But I’m a little off about the tone that the colours
take. I mean for a comic that has dark elements in it, the colours at
times seem a little too... how shall I put it... HAPPY!! Apart from
that, I love what Sahu has done, I have seen his other work and I
think he is exceptionally talented and quite versatile as an artist.
Not too much to
dislike with the issue. Just the tone as I mentioned.
I do like the story,
I do like where this is going and where this is coming from. I
remember reading the first VRICA ages ago, back when I first met
Aniruddho and it caught my attention them.

Here’s hoping that
his style of writing and Tarun’s style of artwork keep us
interested and on our toes for a long time.
If I have to rate it
I’ll give it an 8 for
story, 6.5 for art. So I’ll
give it an overall 7.5 out of 10.
