Hey Fan-boys, Fellow Addicts & True Believers... Aoooooooooooooooo!!!

Here is our first (and mine too) - much awaited - review of the flagship of Indian Comic's World (or Comic Industry, if you prefer), Raj Comics.

I finally managed to get my paws on the latest Raj set (which is a bit late-ish, yes, but still considerable as the upcoming set is still a few weeks away :P). 

This set has some pretty interesting issues, especially the one that I chose to review. With so many characters in RCs repository to choose from, maybe you'll be a little surprised that I chose this bunch, but I always thought that they have immense potential to make a steady long lasting series, instead of the sporadic one off issue once in a while schedule they are keeping nowadays. I am talking about none other than Fighter Toads!

It’s not always I come across a story that is something different from a 16 year old high school teen doing everything to find a boyfriend for herself and when she does, the guy turns out to be a vamp or a monster etc. OR a 16 year old high school teen that is suddenly bestowed with a supernatural power and now has to save the world. So, well, you get the idea how cliché most stories are getting lately. But, Tower of God, here, blows the mountain of cliché stories up in the land of cliché-ness to win itself the title of the King of Originality hands down!

As promised, this is the review of the last of the three collections of Animal Man by Grant Morrison (you can catch previous reviews here and here) which is quite superior to the previous two volumes, in that much it presents a series of events without missing a beat. Most earlier stories seemed like collections of single issues (which worked pretty nicely, in fact) but here it's nice to see Grant tackle a serial storyline, well until the last issue at least, but here we're getting ahead of ourselves.

Rajat's Random Ramblings - Ravanayan Begins...

Comic Addicts has done it again. In an unprecedented move, we are doing, probably for the first time in India, a pre-release review of one of the most anticipated book this summer, Ravanayan.

This has only been possible with the cooperation of Mr. Vivek Goel the owner and the chief artist of the Holy Cow Entertainment, who was futuristic enough to realize the way cookie crumbles. Other Publisher friends… Ahem. We are waiting... Our public DEMANDS pre-release reviews!!! ;)

Anyway, as always, I get distracted and wander off to paths unexplored. Let us come back to the task at hand.

The events that made volume 6 so exciting suddenly seem a little mundane as Garth once again ups the tempo of his massive slap to the collective faces of all Marvel and DC's popular characters, The Boys. While it's still very funny in places, the story has definitely taken a far more serious turn as The Homelander and the rest of the supes begin to look like more of a threat to the world than they already did and Butcher shows more of the unpleasant side of his character after he learns of Hughie's involvement with Starlight.
