Dear Santa,
I'm sure it must strike you as strange that an adult would be writing to you, but let me assure you that I am a firm believer. Doubters will say that it's impossible for one man to deliver toys to every child in one night; however, I say that it is possible. I'm not going to tell you how I know 'cause I know that I shouldn't know. Although between you and me we both know it's a combination of technology and white magic. You don't have to tell me if I'm right or not, but the way I figure, it's like a cross between Harry Potter and Star Trek.
Anyway, I hope that proves my worth to be able to further present this letter to you. In which case I'd like the following for Christmas:

Anyway, I hope that proves my worth to be able to further present this letter to you. In which case I'd like the following for Christmas:
1. Twilight to disappear....FOREVER!
2. Have the term "geek" in internet searches to also be applied to comic geeks.
3. Comic book companies to stop killing off characters, only to reinvent them in ways that may or may not work.
4. One superpower, you can even pick what it is.
5. If I can't have a superpower I would like in lieu of it either a utility belt or super advanced suit of armor like Iron Man.
6. A really sweet vehicle like the 1960's Batmobile or any of Tony Stark's cars. As long as it's something that will impress the opposite sex.
7. That's the other thing, I'd like someone I can be with who is as into comics, sci-fi, and horror as I am so that they can understand me; unlike the rest of the world.
8. My own Fortess of Solitude so that I can store my comics, action figures, gaming supplies, ect. I also want it to have a really cool home theater so that I can watch my comic and sci-fi movies in hi def with surround sound.
9. I want a side kick to do all of the dangerous grunt-work and research to make my life easier. Also, so that I can take credit for brilliant saves from his hard work.
10. Lastly, I want a lifetime VIP pass to every comic, sci-fi, and horror show in the world as well as the means to get tho these shows.
So that's my list Santa. I'm asking you for these things because I feel that you're the only person who can even remotely make it happen. The magical Kris Kringle who can deliver dreams to good boys and girls.
Speaking of which, I will also say that I've been extra good this year. I haven't berated anyone on the net; well not much anyway. I've turned the other cheek when people pick on me for reading comics or watching Firefly. In fact, I would go so far as to say I have been a model comic book citizen.
I hope to see at least one of these items under the tree or in my stocking come Christmas morning, but if not, I understand and there's no hard feelings. Although at the very least a limited edition lightsaber would be appreciated.
You know Santa, before I say good-bye I have a final question for you. I've been thinking about it alot and I just have to know one thing. Are your elves related to Willy Wonka's Oompa Loompas in anyway?

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM AN AVID AND DEVOTED COMIC BOOK GEEK!

Heh, a very nice christmas list indeed - I think I would ask for more or less the same thing.
Though I'll admit, the one thing I would love to add to it that I think as a Browncoat you might agree with: More Firefly! in comics, books, tv, movie, cartoon - so long as cast and minear and whedon are in, so am I! :)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you too!
