Easter Eggs from The Avengers Movie

We've got more Avengers goodness for you today folks! After watching all the awesome Marvel movies, the one thing that stands out is that they're creating these movies like and for fans and there are loads of respectful nods, cameos, easter eggs and clever references in ALL of them.
With that in mind, we decided to watch The Avengers again (it was for you guys, research purposes – the first five times was... well... never mind) and found a bunch of little details that fit the bill:
Classic Fury LMD

Life Model Decoy: Tony Stark replies as his own LMD when Coulson tries to contact him. SHIELD and especially Nick Fury are famous for using LMDs all the time. To those unfamiliar with the concept, Lie Model Decoys are life-like Robot replicas that can take the place of actual person as a stand-in or literally : a decoy.

Odin’s Ravens: In the scene just before the battle between Iron Man and Thor happens in the forest, there are two ravens shown. These are most probably Huginn and Muninn, messengers and
“information gatherers” that give Odin information about happenings across the Nine Realms. This also means he was keeping an eye on his sons during their adventure on Earth.
See 'em on the throne here in the Thor movie? Look closely...

Thanos Easter Egg: After the end credits we get a glimpse of major Marvel Universe baddie Thanos, establishing him as the big-bad for the Avengers franchise. One of the more unique villains and starring in some HUGE comic events even recently included one called “The Thanos Imperative” which revolved around him as the only one who can save our universe (ironic). He is known as the Mad Titan and is crazy-powerful. This should be good!
Just so you know - Thanos won this fight... click and enlarge to check out the butts he whooped!

PLUS! We still don't know for sure if those masked minions of his who were ordering Loki around are Skrulls or not, but if they are then this could make the sequels even better still!

Court Death: In the same post-credit sequence Thanos’s minion uses the word “court death” this was a smart choice of words because fans familiar with his comic incarnation will remember that Thanos is in love with Mistress Death, the spirit/incarnation of Death itself in the Marvel Universe. In the comics he wants to kill the universe itself to prove his love for her. Yeah, he's that crazy.

Other Movie References: The movie itself gives a number of references to other movies. The chat Bruce Banner has with Harry Dean Stanton (old security guard) at the abandoned warehouse was a reference to Stanton being a part of the Alien movie. Stark refers to Thor as Point Break which starred Patrick Swayze as a long-haired, blonde surfer and he also calls Loki Reindeer Games. He even calls Hawkeye Legolas which is the elven-archer character from The Lord of the Rings.

Edgar Wright and Ant Man
Ant Man Tease: Though not an actual tease but Loki and Fury giving ant references during their talks made a few fanboys believe that they were a tease for the in-development Ant Man movie. Personally I believe that they were not and were just a part of the conversation.
[Editors note : The Ant Man movie has been confirmed as green-lit by the studios and the awesome Edgar Wright is still staying on as writer/director!]

If you noticed any further easter eggs do mention in comments section.
