Iron Man 3 Trailer Post-Mortem and Dissection!

Yesterday we got the 1^st official trailer for much anticipated April 2013 release, Iron Man 3. Unfortunately without revealing much.

The part emotional, part action-packed teaser trailer was pure brilliance and here are a few of the moments and things you may or may not have missed during the trailer of what fans are calling Marvel’s darker take on this superhero in a story inspired by the iconic Extremis storyline by Warren Ellis and where we finally get to see the cinematic encounter with arch-nemesis, The Mandarin!

Yes folks, welcome to our follow up to last weeks most-excellent preview pages from issue #0 of the exciting and much-talked-about series.

This week we are excited to bring you the second half of this tantalizing teaser chapter from this promising new series from creators Vivek Goel and Ram V. who have got the Indian comic community buzzing since the first images were released.

What is he? Demon fighter? Hero? Rogue? Mystic? Human? … and what is his mission?

We all have to wait a while still to know the answers to all this and more, but this short story has been a great glimpse into the kind of stories and art that we can expect to see from the series.

So without any further, here is the end of the beginning as this chapter wraps up just as the #1 issue is poised to hit the shelves! With special commentary from the creators themselves, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Easter Eggs from The Avengers Movie

We've got more Avengers goodness for you today folks! After watching all the awesome Marvel movies, the one thing that stands out is that they're creating these movies like and for fans and there are loads of respectful nods, cameos, easter eggs and clever references in ALL of them.

With that in mind, we decided to watch The Avengers again (it was for you guys, research purposes – the first five times was... well... never mind) and found a bunch of little details that fit the bill:

Classic Fury LMD

Life Model Decoy: Tony Stark replies as his own LMD when Coulson tries to contact him. SHIELD and especially Nick Fury are famous for using LMDs all the time. To those unfamiliar with the concept, Lie Model Decoys are life-like Robot replicas that can take the place of actual person as a stand-in or literally : a decoy.

Odin’s Ravens: In the scene just before the battle between Iron Man and Thor happens in the forest, there are two ravens shown. These are most probably Huginn and Muninn, messengers and

Marvel Previews : What do you Fear most?

This week Marvel has released the following FEAR themed teasers. What do you think Marvel is planning? A new series or some new crossover event? Is some FEAR themed villain going to attack our heroes?What is gonna happen in Marvel Universe? Its fun to contemplate isn't it?

Spiderman echoes the sentiments of a normal US citizen - An economy collapse! A terrorist attack! A nuclear fallout... Good thing he doesn't remember Mephisto I say .

Cyclops have done some dubious things within the recent storylines, chief amongst which is no doubt sanctioning murder for wolverine's X-Force. He also has almost the entire mutant species united in his plans, a feat not even magneto could achieve. Magneto also supports cyclops initiatives. This is reason enough for Cyclops to be afraid of becoming another Magneto..

Now this theme has been explored multiple times, the latest one I think was with the CIVIL WAR. Even though CAP's faith in the system wasn't shattered he still considered the superhuman registration law to be wrong. There have been previous instances of CAP losing his faith in the system. Not sure if this is entirely new thing that we are seeing here.

Again, this has been explored multiple times. Losing control has been Doctor Banner's biggest fear since the beginning. Writers have explored this area quite comprehensively. Can Marvel once again revisit this old theme and make it new ( i.e if they are planning to! we still don't know what these teasers are all about!)

Now this is a new one! Thor being afraid of his dad - the allfather ODIN. This has me thinking about Norse mythology and what could Thor possibly have to be afraid of?

whatever the answer to this teaser trailer is, I am sure it would be a fun read if nothing else.. I am interested enough to give it a go , Are you?
